The Importance of Coaching

We go through life trying to tackle a myriad challenges, on our own, without the benefit of the wisdom of those who have gone before us. Few experiences in life are new and unique. Virtually everything that we will live, someone has lived or has lived something similar before us. The same is true of our career challenges and transitions. So why do we, all too often, try to go it alone? Why do we allow ourselves to be fooled into thinking that “I can do it on my own”. This results in us trying to navigate one of the most important aspects of our life – a significant career transition – blind.
